Stan specialises in the Guest & Hosted (B&B) accommodation sector of the Tourism Industry in New Zealand. First, as owner/operator of Muritai Manor in Nelson for eleven years and now working as Administrator for a leading New Zealand B&B marketing group, Heritage & Character Inns of NZ, managing their website, running marketing promotions & producing & distributing their annual accommodation directory. Born & educated in the UK, including a business management qualification, Stan travelled extensively in the UK & Europe, Scandinavia, India, Southern & Eastern Africa, Canada, the USA, & Australia before settling in New Zealand 15 years ago. Staying in a wide range of accommodation around the world including B&B gave him a broad grounding for working in the New Zealand accommodation sector. Stan was involved with the consultation group when Qualmark NZ created the "Guest & Hosted" star grading sector. He has been actively involved promoting tourism marketing in Nelson both with operator groups & Nelson Tasman Tourism.
